Set in Victorian London, Abe, an overworked Irish writer draws inspiration from his day job in the theatre to write a bloody brilliant novel.

The legend of Dracula is born! What better way to celebrate the Bram Stoker festival? This award-winning short is directed by Adam H Stewart, written by Adam H Stewart and Garry Walsh, and features Colin O’Donoghue, David Bamber, Jonathan Ryan and Owen Roe. Abe’s Story was created in 2019.

“Everybody knows who Bram Stoker is, but I am one of the few lucky ones who is related to him,” says award winning director, animator and editor Adam H Stewart. Born and raised in the Dublin mountains, he is currently director of Snackbox Films. Adam studied with the legendary Production Designer Bob Boyle (North by Northwest) and Oscar winner Frank Pierson (Cool Hand Luke). He graduated with a MFA from American Film Institute in Hollywood, CA. Among his many credits, he has animated a key VFX sequence for Ocean’s Eleven (2001), worked on Wonderwoman (2017); and on the opening titles for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011).
