IPUT Real Estate, Ireland’s leading property company and the largest owner of offices and logistics assets in Dublin, announces that TikTok, the world’s leading social media platform for hosting short-form videos, has let the entire Tropical Fruit Warehouse development on a long-term lease.

The Tropical Fruit Warehouse, developed by IPUT, is an 85,000 sq ft six-storey river-front office building located in the Dublin south docklands. The building has been delivered to the highest sustainability credentials in line with IPUT’s responsible investment strategy.

The letting by TikTok reflects sustained demand from occupiers for prime office space which provides a vibrant and attractive work environment for employees, while also reducing carbon emissions and energy waste in support of a net zero economy.

Niall Gaffney, IPUT Real Estate CEO, commented:

The letting of the Tropical Fruit Warehouse demonstrates that the demand from global occupiers for high-quality, sustainable office space in Dublin remains resilient.

The Tropical Fruit Warehouse is an example of true placemaking with all the attributes that provide the enhanced occupier experience required in today’s market and which has been recognised by a global leader such as TikTok.

We are long-term investors in Dublin real estate, delivering market leading office and logistics developments and we continue to see robust demand for these buildings.
